We are looking for NOC Technicians to be parto of our team! The position works in a collaborative environment to support both new business initiatives and the stability of existing systems.
Aiming to fill a position that will focus on Monitoring Functions as a primary role and provide Tier1 level of support to our current Point of Sale solutions in Production environment.
Responsibilities:
o Identification of the issues by using the different monitoring tools for the different platforms
o Lead communication (internal communication, bridges) between our teams, also including external communications to our Vendors and Customers
o Tier1 troubleshooting support for production & product business outages aiming to mitigate or resolve issues impacting regular operation.
o Primary point of contact for all business entities
o Review all standard SQL schema changes to make sure proper procedures are followed.
o Follow up with internal development team as needed.
o Respond and plan for service outages
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and analyze/troubleshoot complex problems.
o Be part of a 24⁄7-team to cover business needs.
o Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Educational and other technical
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or any other related discipline
Intermediate to high knowledge on the following areas:
· Microsoft SQL Server – SSMS Basic queries
· Microsoft Server Environment
o Basic Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 administration
o Monitoring Windows Server
o Troubleshooting OS level issues
§ DNS | DHCP | IIS
· Monitoring Solutions
o Solarwinds | ELK | ICINGA
Other technical skills desired
· VMWare
o Basic understanding of VMWare
· Networking
o Understanding of TCP/IP
o CCNA certification is a plus
· Scripting experience using Bash, Batch files or PowerShell
· Security
o Familiarity with PCI and SOX
· ITIL or Cobit5 Frameworks
40 hours per week
Weekends off, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work, only 2 days from the office.
