What You’ll Do
As Senior Manager, Software Engineering at Imagine Pediatrics, you will collaborate with product leaders and other stakeholders to deliver tech-enabled solutions that further our mission of ensuring every child with special health care needs get the care and support they deserve.
You will:
Build, develop, and mentor 1–2 teams of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Facilitate the execution of our technical roadmap with a focus on data-driven decisions, timely and iterative product development, simplicity, and value delivery.
Continually support the growth and development of engineers on the team by providing timely and constructive feedback
Support the growth and development of peers inside technology through collaboration, mentorship, and feedback.
Communicate with business stakeholders to understand goals and translate them to technical architecture and requirements; estimate product scopes and timelines
Collaborate with team to contribute to technical solutions that satisfy business requirements with a focus on scalability, stability, efficiency, maintainability and extensibility
What You Bring & How You Qualify
First and foremost, you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:
9+12 years of software development experience; 5+ years of experience managing engineers
Prior experience at a hypergrowth company required; healthcare experience preferred
Experience managing teams that have purview across a cloud-based tech stack (AWS preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated history of working asynchronously and remotely with clear and candid communication.
A continual drive to clear the path for your team so that they can do their best work; comfortable jumping into unfamiliar territories to achieve this goal
Passion for developing engineers in a full range of professional skills; experience developing peers or managing managers preferred
Ability to maintain a healthy balance between speed to proof-of-concept and robust, ideal systems.
Experience driving organization-wide initiatives to improve outcomes in engineering.
Experience in using AI for technical and organizational transformation.
What We Offer (Benefits + Perks)
The role offers a base salary range of $190,000 - $220,000 in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
