Operationalizes new venture strategy by building processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing program execution to drive business growth.

What this role involves

About GameChanger:

We believe in the life-changing impact youth sports have on and off the field because they encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence—important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community-building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

About the Role We are looking for a Manager, New Venture Operations to help build and operationalize strategic corporate innovation within GameChanger. You will partner closely with the Head of New Ventures to translate strategy into structured execution, driving cross-functional coordination and operational rigor across Strategy, Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market, Finance, Legal, and CX.

In the near term, you will support the Head of New Ventures — ensuring the right inputs, processes, and communication are in place to support decision-making and business growth. Over time, you will evolve into an independent operator managing workstreams and daily execution as opportunities scale into businesses. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments and can bring structure without slowing things down.

What You’ll Do

Operationalize New Ventures Department

  • Build structure, processes, and operating rhythms that support new venture strategy and business growth

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Strategy, Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, Legal, and CX — ensuring alignment and momentum

  • Develop and maintain operational documentation (playbooks, FAQs, internal guides) that enable teams to move quickly and consistently

Drive Program and Project Execution

  • Lead planning and program management for key initiatives — including timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder accountability

  • Track deliverables across workstreams, identify blockers, and step in to unblock and ensure forward progress

  • Support the Head of New Ventures in decision-making by gathering inputs, synthesizing information, and ensuring clear follow-through on decisions

  • Drive communication and alignment by cascading context, decisions, and updates across teams to reduce silos and increase velocity

Establish Operating Rhythms

  • Help define and build reporting to track performance, operational health, and key business metrics

  • Contribute to and manage lightweight operating cadences — standups, status updates, trackers, documentation

  • Prepare materials for leadership reviews and ensure decisions are captured and actioned

Who You Are

  • 4–7+ years of experience in operations, project management, or similar hands-on roles within a fast-moving organization

  • Demonstrated experience working across Strategy, Product, Engineering, CX, and Go-To-Market teams, with the ability to influence without direct authority

  • Background in consumer tech, SaaS, or sports tech

  • Track record of building structure from ambiguity — setting up workstreams, processes, and execution plans in new or undefined environments

  • Comfortable operating as an individual contributor initially, with the interest and capability to take on people leadership as the business grows

  • Data-oriented, with comfort working with metrics, reporting, and light analysis; experienced building structured datasets from unstructured sources

  • Clear, organized written and verbal communicator — able to synthesize complexity and keep multiple teams aligned

  • Experience in 0-1 startup or corporate innovation environments

  • Experience with Notion or similar knowledge-management tools for process documentation and cross-functional collaboration

  • Exposure to corporate or enterprise environments — particularly in navigating structured stakeholder expectations

  • Able to travel to our New York City HQ on a monthly basis

Perks:

  • Work remotely throughout the US* or from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Unlimited vacation policy.

  • Paid volunteer opportunities.

  • Technology stipend - $4,000 every 2 years after your start to make sure you have the latest and greatest technology.

  • WFH stipend - $500 annually to make your WFH situation comfortable.

  • Monthly physical, mental, wellness & learning stipend offered through Holisticly.

  • Monthly lifestyle stipend offered through Fringe.

  • Full health benefits - medical, dental, vision, prescription, FSA, HRA, HSA, and coverage for family/dependents.

  • Retirement savings - Traditional and Roth 401K plans are offered through Vanguard, with an immediate company match.

  • Life insurance - basic life, supplemental life, and dependent life.

  • Disability leave - short-term disability and long-term disability.

  • Company paid parental leave - up to 20 weeks for birthing parents and up to 12 weeks for non-birthing parents.

  • Family building benefits offered through Progyny.

  • DICK’S Sporting Goods and their family of brands teammate discount.

The target salary range for this position is between $130,000 - $150,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.

\* DICK’S Sporting Goods has company-wide practices to monitor and protect the company from significant compliance and monetary implications as it pertains to employer state tax liabilities. Due to said guidelines put in place, we are unable to hire in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Our Interview Process & AI

We recognize that AI has become a common part of everyday life and professional work, and its use continues to evolve rapidly. Our perspective on AI in the hiring process will evolve as well. At this time, we ask that candidates please refrain from using AI tools during interviews and assessments, as we want to see your authentic self. We will clearly indicate if and when AI use is acceptable in the process. If you have any questions or need accommodations, we’re here to help. Thanks for helping us keep the process fair and secure for everyone!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All official recruitment communications from GameChanger will come from an email address ending in @gc.com or no-reply@ashby.hq.com. If you receive communication from any other domain, please be cautious, as it is likely fraudulent.

Project Management Software Engineering Manager at airSlate

Lead a team of 6-10 automation quality engineers, modernizing test automation frameworks and driving adoption of agentic AI solutions for quality assurance.

Lead Remote Posted about 21 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About airSlate

airSlate is a global SaaS technology company that develops no-code workflow automation, electronic signature, and document management solutions. Our award-winning products - **SignNow, pdfFiller, DocHub, altaFlow, Instapage,** and US Legal Forms - serve over hundreds of millions of  users and more than one million customers worldwide, helping organizations of every size digitize processes, improve efficiency, and transform how they work.

We’re in an exciting phase of growth and transformation, with teammates in more than 20 countries across three continents and main hubs in the United States, Poland, Romania, Ukraine and Philippines.

At airSlate, we’re building value for customers and a culture where growth and innovation go hand in hand. We’re looking for people eager to shape products, scale a company, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

About your team:

We are a passionate and ambitious team of 140+ people on a mission to succeed with our award-winning signature solution –  SignNow.

SignNow empowers over 28 million people at companies across the world to move fast with everything they need to send and eSign their documents. Increase productivity with document workflows, impress customers, and save money while maximizing ROI with SignNow.

We’re looking for an engineer-first quality leader. Someone who came up through AQE or principal engineering, thinks in systems, and is genuinely excited about what agentic AI means for quality.

You’ll lead a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers, own our existing automation estate, and drive a deliberate transition toward agentic quality engineering. Deterministic pipelines today, autonomous test agents tomorrow.

What you’ll own:

  • Quality architecture. Frameworks, toolchain, and the roadmap from traditional automation to agentic solutions. You define how quality is built into the system, not bolted on at the end.
  • A team of 6-10 AQEs. Mentoring, technical direction, and running hands-on pilots alongside them as the team evolves into the agentic era.
  • The existing test automation framework (Java/JS · Selenium · Playwright). Keeping it healthy while evolving it; refactoring what needs it, retiring what doesn’t.
  • Agentic QE design. Partnering with engineering leaders to co-design deterministic agent workflows and non-deterministic (LLM-assisted) approaches, with clear human-in-the-loop governance where it matters.
  • Observability and reporting tooling. Coverage dashboards, flakiness detection, CI quality gates - the visibility layer engineers actually trust.
  • Testing AI-powered features. Behavioral validation, non-deterministic regression, and output evaluation for the product’s own agentic capabilities.
  • Internal tooling. Building tools that make the broader engineering org faster and more quality-conscious, not just the QE team.

What you’ll need:

  • 7+ years in software engineering, AQE, or SDET with a clear arc toward quality leadership
  • 5+ years hands-on with Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, deep enough to design novel solutions, not just configure existing ones
  • 3+ years leading AQE or engineering teams hands-on, running pilots, driving adoption, and getting their hands dirty alongside the team
  • Strong automation architecture chops: you design frameworks, not just write tests
  • Proven experience driving quality initiatives and change management across engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools in production
  • Familiarity with agentic/LLM concepts: evaluating model outputs, handling non-determinism, and agent orchestration patterns
  • CI/CD integration, shift-left thinking, and quality-by-design fluency
  • English B2+

The right person for this role doesn’t come from QA management. They come from engineering. They’ve been the de-facto quality authority on their team before having the title. They can whiteboard quality architecture with platform engineers, drive an agentic pilot with their team the next day, and review a PR the day after that.

If quality in the agentic era is what gets you out of bed, let’s talk.

Popularized by Instagram and Snapchat, Stories are perfectly suited for boosting user engagement, audience retention, and driving advertising revenue. For customers, building their own stories experience can take years and a lot of investment however Storyteller has solved this by allowing companies to integrate in days, not years all for one monthly cost.

Our end‑to‑end platform gives companies a best‑in‑class Stories experience in days with native iOS, Android, and Web SDKs, publishing tools, analytics, and ad support.

The Role

This role owns one of our largest and most valuable clients - a globally recognisable name in major US sport - end to end. You’re the day-to-day lead: you drive the work, keep a complex set of projects moving, and make sure things ship. You also spot where the account can grow, and go after it.

You’ll work across product, engineering, delivery and content, and you’ll unblock what’s stuck rather than wait to be told it’s stuck. It’s a role with genuine autonomy, and genuine accountability for what gets delivered.

Sports Focus

Our client is in major US sport, which sets the rhythm of the work. A playoff run, a trade, a Draft moment or an injury can shift priorities overnight. Basketball knowledge helps here - not as trivia, but because it lets you anticipate those moments rather than react to them.

You don’t need to be an analyst, but you should be genuinely interested in the sport and understand the shape of an NBA season, from regular season through Playoffs, Finals, the Draft and free agency. The strongest candidates will sense how fan behaviour, content timing and client pressure shift across it.

What You'll Do

  • Drive the account forward every day - spot what needs doing and do it, before it becomes a problem.
  • Pull together product, engineering, delivery and operations to land what’s been committed.
  • Make sure what we ship to the client is right - both the quality and the substance.
  • Be the client’s main point of contact, including daily requests from their executives.
  • Turn client requests into clear priorities and next steps.
  • Own account planning - roadmap, renewals, expansions and the commercial detail.
  • Own client reporting, and make it something they act on rather than just read.
  • Handle incidents and escalations calmly - set expectations, align people, drive a resolution.
  • Use the right tools to move faster - meeting summaries, comms and reports, usage analysis, account documentation.

What We Are Looking For

  • You work proactively and independently, and you can hold a lot of moving parts at once.
  • You think critically about what a client actually needs, not just what they asked for.
  • You’re comfortable working across teams and getting things done without formal authority.
  • You communicate sharply - complex things, said simply.
  • You’ve managed enterprise client relationships before (3+ years is a guide, not a rule - we care about capability).
  • You can work US Eastern Time hours, with reliable internet.
  • You have a genuine interest in basketball.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • An initial call with a member of the Operations team.
  • A compensated exercise to test skills relevant to the role.
  • Interview and exercise review with Andy (Chief Delivery Officer).
  • Final interview with Bob (Founder & CEO).

And that’s it!

Project Management Engineering Manager Strategic Projects at Tailscale

Engineering manager leads a senior engineering team building AI-native strategic projects and reference architectures while mentoring engineers and driving business outcomes through shipping POCs and customer integrations.

Lead Remote Posted 3 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Tailscale

Tailscale is building the new Internet by delivering software that makes it easy to securely interconnect people and their devices, no matter where they are. From hobbyists to multinational corporations, teams of every size use Tailscale each day to protect their networks, share access to internal tools, and more. We’re building a future for the Internet that’s easy, sensible, and safe, like it used to be. Founded in 2019 and fully distributed, we’re backed by Accel, CRV, Insight, Heavybit, and Uncork Capital.

Job Description

We’re seeking a full-time Software Engineering Manager for our Strategic Projects team. Reporting into our co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, this team exists to show developers and organizations why Tailscale should be their default connectivity substrate, both for internal infrastructure and for embedding into customer-facing products. Aperture, our identity-aware LLM gateway, is one such initiative.

This is an AI-native team. We use coding agents heavily as a force multiplier and expect a manager to be a power user and a coach for others. Our customers demand a high bar on code quality, security, and operational rigour, and we treat that as a reason to use every tool available, including LLMs and coding agents, to ship fast without compromising it.

As Engineering Manager you will mentor a small team of senior engineers; partner with the CSO, PM, and reference customers to turn market signals (particularly around AI infrastructure, agentic tooling, and identity-aware networking) into shippable POCs and reference architectures; provide technical direction on prototypes and integrations, many of which become public artifacts (blog posts, reference repos, conference demos, customer integrations); and help grow the organization through hiring, culture, and process.

Tailscale is fully remote, this team operates with significant ambiguity, and the shipping cadence is fast. Comfort working asynchronously and collaborating with highly technical customers is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a talented, senior team of experienced engineers in a growth-stage startup.
  • Drive business outcomes measured by adoption of new platform primitives, customer integrations landed, and influence on Tailscale’s roadmap.
  • Make major design decisions on prototypes that often graduate into production surface area, and own the quality bar for the team’s externally-visible artifacts (reference architectures, open source, talks, customer integrations).
  • Set the bar for how this team uses AI coding tools: which agents and workflows the team adopts, what review and security practices wrap around agent-generated code, and how the team sustains a fast cadence without lowering the production bar.
  • Hire, nurture, and oversee engineers while fostering a fun, creative, and inclusive atmosphere, including healthy conflict and a culture of candid, kind feedback.
  • Collaborate across core platform engineering, security, and go-to-market on projects that span domains and often involve direct customer co-development.
  • Drive planning across horizons, balancing fast prototype cycles against longer-arc bets on where connectivity, identity, and AI infrastructure are converging.
  • Light travel required (~10-15%): primarily team and company onsites, with occasional conferences or customer visits concentrated in North America with potential trips to EU or APAC.

What We Are Looking For

  • Substantial experience managing and mentoring engineering teams: performance, career development, hiring, and culture
  • Experience developing in Go, the primary language across Tailscale’s stack and this team’s prototypes
  • Heavy daily use of coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and LLMs in your engineering workflow, with a point of view on where they accelerate work, where they fail, and how to wrap them in review and security practices that hold the production bar. Able to coach engineers on your team to operate the same way
  • Comfort with exploratory, customer-facing engineering: translating customer conversations into prototypes and reference designs
  • Comfort with the cadence of a strategy team at an early-ish startup: priorities shift with market signal, prototype-to-production timelines are short, and the bar on what ships stays high regardless

Nice to Have

  • Building applications on top of LLMs and agentic systems (not just using them as dev tools)
  • Networking background (L4-L7 connectivity, browser and DNS behaviors), and familiarity with Tailscale itself
  • Identity infrastructure background: IdP platforms, identity sync/provisioning, directory services, and protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM); access control models (RBAC/ABAC), session management, MFA, passwordless auth
  • Leading teams whose output is publicly visible (open source, devrel, reference implementations) and validating prototype code for production alongside security teams

As a company, we strive to maintain fair and equitable compensation practices within our team across all roles and all levels. Tailscale’s compensation package includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The salary range displayed on each job posting represents the target range for a new hire’s base salary. Individual offers may vary based on experience and skill set.

CAN Pay Range

$276,040—$344,380 CAD

Frequently cited statistics show that people who identify with historically marginalized groups are likely to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to help us break that statistic!

What We Offer

  • An inclusive, flexible environment where you can be your authentic self. We recognize the impact of diverse voices and backgrounds on the growth of our people, product, and company. And that flexibility in how and when you work empowers our team to integrate work and life.
  • A competitive total compensation package. This includes a base salary, an equity incentive plan and variable commission (for quota-based roles).
  • Comprehensive group benefits with no waiting period. Take advantage of coverage for health, vision, dental, and more for you and your family!
  • Remote first company—most of our teams work fully remotely. Enjoy a change of scenery wherever you can get wifi, participate in virtual and in-person social events, and leverage our corporate co-working program to visit WeWork (or other similar spaces near you). Some roles require in-office collaboration depending on team needs, which will be clearly noted in the job description.
  • Connect with other Tailscalars IRL. Attend our annual company retreat, participate in team off-sites, and collaborate in person with teammates across Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We support intentional in-person connection through team travel and distributed collaboration.
  • Support for your personal and professional development. Grow your career thoughtfully with $1500 USD annually for professional development, or take advantage of mentorship, coaching, and internal promotion opportunities.
  • Paid time off and a healthy work-life integration. Our flexible, paid time off program supports you for any situation life throws your way, whether moving homes or travelling the world!
  • A build-your-own home office setup. You choose your own company-owned laptop (Mac or PC), receive a monthly home internet reimbursement, and $1000 USD to customize your workstation to make it your own.
  • Generous parental leave program from your first day. We care about your life outside of work and encourage new parents to take advantage of parental leave top-ups for up to 26 weeks.

Tailscale is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring process. If you require an accommodation at any stage of the recruitment process or related to any aspect of this role, please contact your recruiter.

Our hiring process uses AI-assisted tools to help screen and assess candidates. All hiring decisions are made by people.
